After the foldable smartphone, Samsung is soon going to bring a laptop with a foldable or flexible screen, for which the company has applied for a patent. Samsung’s patented foldable / flexible display laptop may feature a bendable screen, in which the base portion of the screen can be used as a tracking pad or keyboard in addition to the main screen.
Samsung applied for this patent in the United States Design Patent (USDP) in the year 2020. This patent has been published on 22 November 2022, shared by 91mobiles and other tech platforms.

The way you fold Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip phones, a large foldable display can be seen in this upcoming design patent from Samsung. However, its official information has not been given by the company yet. The main part of the screen will be used as the main display. At the same time, the other part can be used as a virtual keyboard. Apart from this, two Thunderbolt ports can also be seen in the patented laptop.
Currently this laptop is in the designing stage and this news is going through transition. It is being speculated that it will get Intel’s processor and it can come with AMOLED display and Windows OS. However, with the patent of the laptop coming with this flexible display of Samsung, its features have not been revealed yet.
